ECO/NECT
Eco/nect is a sustainable city life project. Located in Alsancak Basmane region, the project attaches importance to minimum intervention in the area where it is located. While striving to create a multifunctional public space in environmental, economic and social areas, it brings the sustainable city concept to the area by using the strong raw materials on the Basmane-Ödemiş train route. These raw materials are agricultural products in Ödemiş and flowers in Bayındır. While the sale, exhibition and auction of raw materials are carried out in Basmane, research is also carried out with research units. The public participates in some functions of the research departments from time to time, creating an enjoyable experience route in the field.
This project, which is carried out by adhering to the principles of sustainability, captures net positivity in the area by adopting a circular waste approach. It reveals an exemplary city approach with its balanced use of green areas and buildings.
